Senor Captain Mathias Van den Bossche Graduates!

International Test Pilots School recently celebrated our most recent fixed wing test pilot graduate, Senior Captain Mathias Van den Bossche. Mathias joined us following extensive operational experience flying F-16s for the Belgian Air Component, and successfully completed our EASA Category 2 Military Test Pilot course to a high standard. He also had the unique privilege of being the first ever ITPS student to conduct their Final Exercise in our Hawker Hunter 5th Generation Surrogate Training Aircraft (5STA).

We were pleased to hear Mathias summarize his time at our test pilot school: “The strength of ITPS lies in the highly experienced and diverse instructor cadre, on both the test pilot and flight test engineer side. They challenge you to develop the required flying and critical thinking skills while maintaining an open mind.”
