ITPS Canada Sponsors The North American Flight Test Safety Workshop

May 11, 2026

The North American Flight Test Safety Workshop this past week brought together the flight test community for two valuable days of safety-focused presentations, discussion, and collaboration.

We are always very proud to see our test pilot school graduates attending, contributing, presenting and strengthening the future of aerospace. Advanced flight test training plays a vital role in developing safe, efficient, and operationally excellent flight test professionals, grounded in the ITPS Canada values of innovation, collaboration and safety.

Congratulations to Amit Alfia-Shelef, ITPS Canada, on presenting “ITPS Modern Recovery From the Tower of Babel Effect: Safe Integration of Cultures,” and to Ahmet Emre YILMAZ, MSc. and D. Doğukan Göle, Turkish Aerospace, on presenting “Safety Lessons from Test Pilot Experience in MALE and Jet UCAV Flight Testing,” sharing valuable flight test safety lessons and operational experience.

A highlight of the event was the tour of the Bell Flight Research Center, including an impressive view of Bell’s tiltrotor design. Continued professional development and learning from the experience of other companies strengthen the entire aerospace community.

Thank you to the Flight Test Safety Committee for the opportunity to sponsor an event that reinforces safety and collaboration across our industry. See you next year in Denver!
