Instructor Team and Students Fly on TAI Hürkuş

Flight training operations have begun at International Test Pilots School Türkiye. Instructor training is complete and Lead Flight Test Instructor Saša Dobrosavljević, and instructor team in Turkey have begun flying with students. Backbone of the training fleet are four TAI Hürkuş (Free Bird) turboprop military trainers. The Hürkuş is powered by a 1600 shp Pratt and Whitney PT6 and features advanced avionics including embedded simulation system. The aircraft are instrumented for flight testing including telemetry allowing flight test engineers to monitor flight tests from the TM control room. A team of students from ITPS Canada will be travelling to Türkiye for the final project on the Hürkuş, later this year.
