Williams is the Chief Flight Test Instructor – Fixed Wing at ITPS (Canada) Ltd. and previously served as the Director of the French test pilot school, L’école du personnel navigant d’essais et de réception (EPNER). He began his career in the French Air Force, where he held operational roles as a heavy transport pilot on the C-160, accumulating over 5,000 flight hours across more than 80 aircraft types.
A graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School, Williams has extensive flight test experience, including leading the A-400M expert team into service and serving as Chief Test Pilot at the French Flight Test Center in Istres. His expertise spans a wide range of test piloting and instructional roles. He holds EASA Flight Test Rating CAT-1 and Flight Test Instructor FTI (A rating).
Williams is also a graduate of the French War College (Collège Interarmées de Défense) and holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MSc in Flight Test Engineering from Air University (USA), an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Aix Marseille University, and an engineering degree from the Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (ISAE Supaéro), as well as a French Air Force Academy Engineering degree.
His diverse experience and leadership in flight testing and training make him a key figure in advancing ITPS’ reputation as a global leader in aviation training.
