Steve Bigg led the creation of the Advanced Aircraft Simulation Centre (AASC) at the International Test Pilots School (ITPS), now a core part of both flight test and tactical training programs. The AASC houses over seventeen simulators, including helicopters, heavy transports, and three fighter types. Steve was instrumental in developing the large force exercise simulation capability, supporting fighter weapons instructor and mission commander training at the International Tactical Training Centre (ITTC).

Before joining ITPS, Steve founded and operated his own Air Combat Flight Simulation Centre, gaining valuable experience in using simulation to enhance air combat training. He holds a Diploma in Computer Electronics Engineering Technology and earned his pilot’s license at 17.
