René is an Aeronautical Engineer and is ITPS’ Compliance Manager and Ground Instructor for Materials Science, Structures, Loads, Aeroelasticity and Vibration.
With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, René has worked across all stages of Aircraft Certification in the OEMs from Development to Final Assembly Line for companies including Embraer, Bombardier, Triumph Aerospace and Mecachrome Aerospace and types including Embraer Legacy 600, Embraer 170/190 family, Embraer C-390 Millenium and Bombardier Global 7000. He holds MRB signature for 8 types.

René holds a degree of Aeronautical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) and has specializations in Additive Manufacturing by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Ferrous Technology by the Pohang University of Science and Technology, Ethics by the University of Lausanne and Business by the London Business School.
As Compliance Manager for ITPS, René works closely with the COO and CEO and is responsible for Compliance with requirements for EASA ATO Certification, ISO Certification, Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification, Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification, Export Control and Canada Controlled Goods Program.
