Gustavo is the Deputy Head of UAS at ITPS (Canada) Ltd. He began his career as a Colombian Air Force T-27 and A-29 fighter pilot before transitioning to a MALE UAV pilot in an ISR role. Gustavo flew the Hermes 450 and 900 UAVs, conducting missions against illegal mining, deforestation, drug organizations, and other military operations to support national security in Colombia.

Over the past 9 years, Gustavo has held various positions within military aviation, planning and coordinating aerial operations for both manned and unmanned aircraft. His work has spanned a wide range of military and civil support missions for the Colombian Air Force. His expertise includes overseeing and executing aerial operations in challenging environments, leveraging both manned and unmanned aircraft to provide comprehensive support for military objectives and civil authorities.

As the Deputy Head of UAS at ITPS, Gustavo brings his extensive UAV experience and operational insight to lead training and support the development of unmanned aerial systems capabilities. His unique background in both fighter aviation and UAV operations positions him as a valuable asset in shaping the future of UAS training and operations at ITPS.
