ITPS Equips Freespace Callisto 50 to UAS Fleet

July 30, 2025

Demonstrate – Preview (validate) – Acceptance: the three key Test and Evaluation activities which should be demanded of a Strategic Industry Partner.

Thrilled to share that the Callisto 50 industrial multirotor RPAS from Freespace Operations has successfully completed its flight acceptance trials in Melbourne, Australia.

Purchased by International Test Pilots School (ITPS) Canada for exclusive global use in UAS Flight Test and Advanced Operator training programs, the Callisto family offer proven TRL 9 capability.

As Head of UAS Training and Operations at ITPS, it was a privilege to be on-site during these milestone activities and actively validate the aircraft’s performance, reliability and system safety firsthand.

Congratulations also to the Freespace Operations team Leonard Hall and Ken King for delivering a Masterclass in octoquad multirotor design and in-flight tuning on their newest product Callisto 75.

Looking forward to the Callisto 50 supporting the continually evolving ITPS UAS Division – delivering the best training and systems available for our global customer base.
