We bid Dr. Panos A. Vitsas a fond farewell after 12 years with ITPS. Staff and students gathered in the lunchroom to enjoy cake and share stories about Panos and his time at ITPS. Later that evening, ITPS Chief Operating Officer David Clementi presented Panos with a commemorative plaque and acknowledged his many contributions to ITPS over the years.

Panos started as a sponsored student in the Flight Test Engineer Diploma Course at ITPS in 2012. After his studies, he became a Fixed Wing Flight Test Engineer Instructor and later assumed the role of Chief Academic Officer. In this position, he was instrumental in developing our Master of Science courses in 2022 and providing overall leadership for academic course development, delivery and assessment.

Panos commented on his time at ITPS, “When I first joined ITPS in 2012, I could not imagine the forthcoming growth and the effect it would have on my career. For me ITPS is more than a Test Pilot School. ITPS is passion for flight test, pursuit of excellence, and an attitude to life that I will always carry.”
