Breaking Boundaries: World-Class Flight Test Engineer Training at ITPS!

We don’t just train test pilots at International Test Pilots School; we’re also shaping a new generation of flight test engineers (FTEs) with the skillsets they need to excel in the modern aerospace industry. By integrating our Telemetry (TM) Room with our cutting-edge Advanced Aircraft Simulation Centre (AASC), we’ve created the ability to train FTEs in a realistic TM room environment with live-streaming test data. This integration allows us to execute real-time telemetry exercises using flight simulators as data generators. Through exercises like our Stores Certification campaign, flight data, aircraft parameters, cockpit views, stores and target video are streamed and displayed in the TM Room, allowing our FTE students to gain invaluable hands-on experience in telemetry room operations.

In the TM Room, students step into the role of test director, navigating real-time data streams and making critical decisions. This immersive, hands-on learning experience provides our students with the skills and confidence they need to meaningfully contribute to modern flight test activities immediately upon graduation.
