Adam Lowes Celebrates 10 Years at ITPS

Celebrating 10 years of Adam Lowes at the International Test Pilots School

Since joining ITPS on April 4, 2016, Adam has made a lasting impact as a Rotary Wing Test Pilot Instructor, training over 130 students and sharing his knowledge, experience, and commitment to high standards and safety in flight test training. His approachable style and depth of expertise have helped shape the capabilities and confidence of flight test professionals from around the world.

With 26 years of service in the Royal Canadian Air Force and over 25 years of flight test experience, Adam brings exceptional depth of operational and developmental test experience to ITPS. A 2004 graduate of the United States Naval Test Pilot School and a strong advocate of lifelong learning, he also holds advanced academic credentials that reflect the same dedication he brings to his work. His career has included extensive rotary wing flight test leadership, from Sea King upgrades and mission systems testing to developmental flight test on the CH148 Cyclone helicopter.

A Category-1 Rotary Wing Test Pilot Instructor, Adam has continued to expand his expertise by completing the full Category-1 Fixed Wing Test Pilot Course and earning a Master of Science in Flight Test Engineering – further reinforcing his commitment to continuous growth and cross-disciplinary excellence.
